Subleasing
Subletting is allowed provided that the terms listed in the Lease are followed.
PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT THE RESIDENT WILL NOT BE RELEASED FROM
THE OBLIGATIONS, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS OF THE LEASE.
- Sublettor should complete and submit tenant application information to fierstrentals@gmail.com.
- Resident should explain the terms and conditions of the Lease to the Sublettor. It is the Resident’s responsibility to provide a copy of the Lease and executed copy of the Sublet Form to the Sublettor.
- All Residents listed on the Lease must agree to the Sublet. Residents may either initial the Sublet Form or send an email to fierstrentals@gmail.com stating their approval.
- No additional security deposit will be required from the Sublettor. Any damages or utility charges caused by the Sublettor will be deducted from the security deposit as per the terms of the Lease.
- Resident and Sublettor should complete and sign the Sublet Agreement Form. All agreements between Resident and Sublettor should be outlined completely. This is your contract with each other. The completed Sublet Agreement Form should be submitted to the Fierst Rentals office.
- There is a one time $50.00 processing fee per Subletter due at the time the Sublet Agreement Form is turned into Fierst Rentals.
- The original Residents listed on the Lease are not being released from the terms, conditions, and obligations of the Lease. You are responsible for any damage, costs, etc. caused by your sublettor. Make sure you sublet to someone that you trust and feel will be responsible.
- Any persons found living in the residence who is not on the lease or sublet form will be removed from the premise.
